ANCHORAGE, AK — The Wolverines are on a three-game heater after last night’s 5–3 win over the Springfield Jr. Blues at the Sullivan Arena.
Jason Bourdukofsky opened the scoring eight minutes into the contest before Springfield evened things up to close out the first period.
In the second, Luc Bydal and Cole Frawner each found the back of the net, with assists from Rylan Bydal and Bourdukofsky, respectively, giving the Wolverines a 3–1 lead heading into the final frame.
The Jr. Blues struck first and second in the third, but Bowen Burke buried the go-ahead goal moments later to put the Wolverines back on top.
Luc Bydal sealed the victory with an empty-netter, his second of the night, securing the Wolverines’ third straight win.
The two teams meet again tonight at the Sullivan Arena.
