The Anchorage Wolverines walk off victorious after a 7-5 game against the Kenai River Brown Bears.

Cole Christian was the MAN tonight. He pocketed four of the seven Anchorage goals, two coming in the first 15 minutes of the contest.

Trent Powell lit the lamp 7:40 into the second, followed by Ameen Ghosheh’s first NAHL goal. Ghosheh won the defensive end faceoff and one timed the puck to the back of the net, bringing the score to 4-1, Wolverines.

Kenai came back strong, though, scoring 30 seconds after Ghosheh’s goal, and again a minute later.

Within the first five minutes of the third, Kenai managed two goals, taking the game with a 5-4 lead.

Christian didn’t let up, coming in a minute later and securing a hat trick to tie the game. Danny Bagnole grabbed the game winning goal at 12:55 in the final contest, forcing Kenai to an empty net. Jack Darby got the puck to Christian for his fourth and final goal.
