The jersey auction for the Anchorage Wolverines second specialty jersey of the 2022-23 NAHL season is now live on DASH. These jerseys will be worn this weekend, and honor the history and bond that Anchorage shares with the military and its service members, while showing gratitude for all that they do to defend and serve our country and state. Proceeds from this weekend’s auction will go to the Alaska Fisher House. This organization provides housing for military families who must travel away from home for intensive medical care.
Because members of the military and their families are stationed worldwide and must often travel great distances for specialized medical care, Fisher House Foundation donates “comfort homes,” built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times, such as during hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.
