While this point of the NAHL regular season is undoubtedly important to the Anchorage Wolverines, some things are bigger than hockey. Recently two Wolverines fans were diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and for that reason, the organization invites all fans attending Sunday’s game against the Chippewa Steel to wear orange in honor of leukemia awareness.

Lucas and Kayden are both proud members of the Anchorage hockey community. The Wolverines stand together with the two of them in their fight against cancer, and invite their fans to get involved by spreading awareness and supporting their families.

As part of Sunday’s event, all kids will receive free admission to the Ben, and there will be a skate with the team following the game.
