Anchorage, Alaska |3/8/23 | Isaac Smoldon

The Anchorage Wolverines play the Minnesota Wilderness this Friday and Saturday at the Ben for the final time this regular season. Both teams are coming off sweeps of their respective opponents last weekend, with the Wolverines beating Fairbanks at home, while Minnesota took care of Kenai River in Soldotna.

Anchorage has yet to beat the Wilderness this season, with a record of 0-2-2 against Minnesota in their four meetings. Both teams have 11 points through their last 10 games, as Minnesota looks to solidify their second place standing in the division, while the Wolverines are clawing to secure a playoff spot with 12 games remaining in their schedule. They are currently tied for fourth with the Brown Bears.

Points at a premium for every team in the Midwest this time of year, as both teams look to keep up with an extremely competitive division. This weekend’s games begin at 7 p.m. AKST, with tickets available now at tickets.anchoragewolverines.com. The broadcast for the games starts at the same time, exclusively on HockeyTV.
