The Anchorage Wolverines won in convincing fashion on Friday night, beating the Springfield Jr. Blues 6-2. It was a complete game for the Wolverines, featuring six individual goal scorers for the home team, and a 29 save performance from Shane Soderwall.

Anchorage had possession for a good chunk of the 1st and were rewarded with two goals late in the period, one from Revy Mack and a second from Aiden Westin. Then in the middle frame, the Wolverines poured it on, scoring three more times in quick succession, first with Joe Cesario capitalizing on the powerplay, followed by Danny Reis and Cameron Morris extending the lead to five. The Jr. Blues scored their first of the contest late into the 2nd, pulling back within four with one period remaining. Both teams exchanged a goal in the final frame, with Hayden Hennen potting his seventh of the season for Anchorage, and the Wolverines went on to win by a final score of 6-2.
