Jul 25, 2023

Cameron and Cooper Morris will continue their hockey career at NCAA Division III St. Norbert College.

Cameron, the six-foot forward played in 146 games throughout his two seasons with the Wolverines. He tallied 38 goals and 125 assists, totaling 163 points for the team.

“Cam is someone I see stepping into the St. Norbert lineup and making an immediate impact offensively,” Head Coach Nick Walters said. “For the Wolverines, Cam joined the 100-point club, which is no easy feat. His vision and playmaking ability all over the ice makes him hard to defend.”

Cooper played on the other end of the ice as his brother, being a reliable defender. This didn’t stop him from bringing in 92 points for the Wolverines, consisting of nine goals and 83 assists.

Cooper has played 145 games with the Wolverines, and both brothers have resided with the team since the Wolverines’ first season.

“Coop was an anchor for us on the defensive end. He played in every situation, and he was a guy you could count on to make the right play at the right time,” Walters said. “St. Norbert is getting a player that will be able to play up and down the lineup, but more importantly, a great kid on and off the ice.”

The twins have played on the same team together since they began the sport, making this commitment one more milestone they get to do together.

St. Norbert had an overall record of 17-9-2 and a conference record of 12-5-1 throughout the 2022-23 season.
