The Wolverines and Jets landed themselves in another shootout, this time, the Wolverines came out on top.
Brock Devlin secured the Wolverines’ game winning goal in the second shootout in two days, ending the Jets 3-game home winning streak.
Oliver Salo found the back of the net twice tonight, first at the 18-minute mark in the second, and again with four minutes left in the third to tie the game.
Beerman tallied his first NAHL point, sending the puck up the ice to Devlin, drop passing it to Salo who finished it, to watch the goal click HERE.
Janesville attempted ‘The Michigan,’ which Beerman ultimately denied, catching the puck.
The Wolverines now sit with a 2-2-1-1 record against the Jets, and are leaving Janesville with an additional three points towards league standings.
The Anchorage Wolverines’ next target is the Springfield Jr. Blues. The game weekend starts early with a 4:05pm AKST Thursday puck drop, followed by another 4:05pm start time on Friday. The day begins early on Saturday with the final game of the series starting at 3:05pm AKST.
