Anchorage, AK | 10/28/23 | Jacqueline Hixssen

After three invigorating periods of play, the Anchorage Wolverines pocketed another WIN against the Wisconsin Windigo.

Wisconsin stepped out strong during the first and overshadowed Anchorage with two back-to-back goals within the first five minutes of play.

Bryce Monrean tallied one in the first, which was immediately followed by two more Wisconsin goals.

We’re not sure what was said in the locker room after the first period, but it got the boys GOING!

Cole Christian found the net 56 seconds into the contest when Brock Devlin and Feddy Nikolayenya sauced the puck to Christian for the quick goal.

Immediately followed by Blake Markwell handing the puck off to Tyler Hennen one minute and 55 seconds into the second for the Wolverines third goal of the night.

Anchorage danced around Wisconsin in the final period, putting three more pucks in the back of the net.

Tai Ushio owned the ice in the third, finding the back of the net at the 5:36 mark and again at 17:12. Kade Shea split Ushio’s goals, zipping one in at 14:30.
