The Anchorage Wolverines picked up two points against a tough opponent against the Janesville Jets last Friday and Saturday, but will be tested this upcoming weekend in a three-game series against the Wisconsin Windigo. The Wolverines were 3-4-0 against Wisconsin last season and currently sit one point behind them in the Midwest division standings.
Anchorage’s offense woke up in last Saturday’s game against the Jets, with the Wolverines notching eight goals in their 8-6 win. Now they will look to use that momentum to outscore an opponent that has been involved in several barn-burners already this season. Once again, Anchorage will be facing one of the NAHL’s current top scorers, this time in Maxwell Martin of the Windigo. Martin has 10 goals and 15 assists in his 14 games played so far this season.
