Anchorage drained 4 of 38 shots, leaving with a final score of 4-2 and starting the three game series with the win.

In net for Anchorage, Liam Beerman saved 31 of 33 shots against.

Danny Bagnole tallied four points tonight, finding the back of the net in the first for a lone period goal, again at 16:55 in the final to tie the game at 2-2, and his final goal came with seven seconds left in the game with an open net, securing his first NAHL hattrick.

He assisted Camden Shasby’s goal with less than 20 seconds left in the second period.

Tyler Hennen was the playmaker tonight for the Wolverines, assisting in three of four goals. Hennen also had an impact in the first goal, when he sent the puck out of Anchorage’s zone to find Markwell to Monrean, who assisted Bagnole’s first goal.
