Anchorage, Alaska |3/21/23 | Isaac Smoldon

As the end of the regular season draws closer and closer, the Anchorage Wolverines prepare for a critical series against the Springfield Jr. Blues this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All three games will take place at the Ben Boeke Ice Arena, and are part of a 12-game home stand that the Wolverines have secured four points in thus far.

Anchorage has a record of 1-2-0 versus the Jr. Blues in the three games that they have played against Springfield this season. The Wolverines currently sit four points out of a playoff spot with ten games remaining in the regular season, while the Jr. Blues are in last place in the Midwest with little hope of making the playoffs.

With points at a premium, Anchorage is looking to keep pace with the rest of the Midwest, while Springfield hopes to take revenge for the playoffs last season by playing spoiler this weekend. Friday and Saturday’s games will start at 7 p.m. AKDT, while Sunday’s will begin at 4 p.m. AKDT. Tickets are available now at tickets.anchoragewolverines.com, and the live broadcast for all three games will be streamed live on HockeyTV.
