The Anchorage Wolverines play just a single game this upcoming weekend, Saturday at 7 p.m. against the Minnesota Wilderness in Anchorage. The Wolverines are coming off of a weekend home-and-home sweep against the Kenai River Brown Bears, that featured a come-from-behind overtime win in their season’s home opener.
Last season, Anchorage failed to win a single game against the Wilderness, and held a record of 0-4-2 against Minnesota on the season. This year the Wilderness were the Wolverines’ first win of the season, with Anchorage breezing past Minnesota 5-1 on the road.
