About Us

Founded in 2021, the Anchorage Wolverines are proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), bringing fast-paced, hard-hitting junior hockey to the Last Frontier. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, we’re more than just a team, we’re a community built on passion, grit, and the relentless pursuit of excellence both on and off the ice.

The Wolverines compete at the NAHL’s highest level, providing players aged 16–20 with a proven pathway to NCAA college hockey and beyond. Many of our athletes arrive chasing their dreams, and leave with college commitments, life-long friendships, and the pride of representing Alaska’s hockey tradition.

Mission
Our mission is simple: to develop elite hockey talent while inspiring and uniting our community through the game we love.

Our Home Ice
We play our home games at Sullivan Arena, where fans pack the stands and bring the kind of energy only Alaskans can deliver. From the roar of the crowd to playing in the historic Sullivan Arena, game nights here are unlike anywhere else.

Community First
The Wolverines are committed to giving back. Whether it’s youth clinics, school visits, charity events, or working alongside local organizations, our players and staff proudly represent Anchorage both in the rink and in the community.

Why the Wolverines?
The wolverine is known for being fierce, resilient, and unstoppable; traits we strive to embody every time we hit the ice. Just like our namesake, we play with heart, we defend our territory, and we never back down.

Join us at the arena and experience the excitement, passion, and RAGE of Wolverines Hockey.
