Wolverines fall short in game two against Jr. Blues

ANCHORAGE, AK –The Wolverines saw their three-game win streak come to an end tonight, falling 6–4 to the Springfield Jr. Blues at the Sullivan Arena.

Anchorage jumped out to an early lead, heading into the first intermission up 2–0 with goals from Sam Evert and Chase Trompeter.

In the second period, Rylan Bydal and Caleb Mahar each found the back of the net, but Springfield answered with three of their own to narrow the gap.

The Jr. Blues carried that momentum into the third, adding three unanswered goals to close out the night with a 6–4 victory.

The two teams wrap up the series tomorrow afternoon with a 4:00 PM puck drop.
